Dogs and Rocks

This piece got its name because it was delivered to me by a chocolate lab named Legend.

While I was in a wooded park with friends and several dogs playing in the creek, Legend came out of the water with a rock in his mouth and dropped it at my feet. What else could I name it after this surreal event?

Spheres, patterns, and letter-like shapes give way to many otherworldly faces upon faces. The central red figure dominates the image and seems to separate the rest into different cosmic fields. I’m not surprised that Legend turned out to be an intriguing and unusual rock.
